Director Professor Liming Dai elected as ATSE Fellow

ARC Centre of Excellence for Carbon Science and Innovation (ARC COE-CSI) Director, Professor Liming Dai, was elected as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering (ATSE) yesterday.

Prof Dai has been recognised as one of the nation’s leading materials scientists for his research on high-tech plastics and carbon nanomaterials, including pioneering vertically aligned carbon nanotubes with multiple technological applications and developing revolutionary carbon-based electrocatalysts.

Under Prof Dai’s leadership, the ARC COE-CSI has emerged as a national flagship program, driving advancements in carbon science and innovation for renewable energy generation and green chemical production. He is a global leader in the research and development of carbon nanomaterials, positioning ARC COE-CSI at the forefront of carbon science and innovation.
